Led by 15 three-time honorees, 60 WPI spring student-athletes across five sports achieved NEWMAC Academic All-Conference status. Women's Rowing led the conference while Baseball and Women's Track & Field tied for the top spot on their lists while the track programs boasted 16 selections each.

To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Sixteen Assumption students spending the spring semester abroad at Assumption College's Rome Campus where the city and country of Italy become a living classroom.

Each academic term, Holyoke Community College recognizes superior scholarship through the Dean's List. A student is placed on the Dean's List if his or her G.P.A. is 3.2 or higher. These students have earned Dean's List honors for the Fall 2016 term.

Each fall, Holyoke Community College recognizes the academic excellence of students who have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, or higher, after completing a minimum of 30 semester hours of work at HCC. These students are invited to join the international honor society Phi Theta Kappa and are recognized at Convocation. Congratulations to them for all their hard work!

Loyola University Maryland welcomed the members of its class of 2020. As first-year students embark on their college experience, they will all take part in Loyola's living learning program, Messina. The common text for Messina is How to Win an Election, Quintus Tullius Cicero's letter to his brother, Marcus Cicero, a candidate for Consul (the highest office in the Roman church) in 64 B.C.

Nichols College graduated 456 students on May 8, 2016, at the DCU Center in Worcester. Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker delivered the keynote address.

Select students have been named to the Spring 2016 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Western New England University congratulates more than 350 students who were named to the Spring 2016 President's List. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.

This year's undergraduate address was given by Reshma Saujani, founder and CEO of Girls Who Code, a national nonprofit organization that seeks to equip girls in grades 6 through 12 with computing skills and help close the gender gap in technology.

The following students graduated from the University of New Hampshire during the Commencement Ceremony held Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Durham, N.H. Students who received the honor of Summa Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.85-4.0; students who received the honor of Magna Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.65-3.84; and students who received the honor of Cum Laude graduated with a GPA of 3.50-3.64.

Assumption College has announced that 561 students named to the College's undergraduate Dean's List for the spring 2016 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester. The Dean's List is announced twice every academic year, once at the completion of the fall semester, and again at the completion of the spring semester. "The Dean's List is a recognition of students who have attained significant academic achievements," said Assumption College President Francesco Cesareo, Ph.D. "The College is proud to formally recognize its top scholars whose dedication, hard work and commitment to their studies, are forming them to become effective leaders whom others will seek to emulate.

693 students received a degree, including 463 Bachelor of Arts degrees; 187 graduate studies degrees and certificates; and 43 Continuing and Career, during Assumption College's 99th Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 7. Carolyn Woo, Ph.D., CEO of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), delivered the commencement address. Honorary degrees were conferred upon Dr. Woo; Dr. James O'Connell, president of Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program; and Assumption alumni Dr. Fred Bayon '65, Board Chair Emeritus, and Michael Tsotsis '71, Trustee Emeritus. Francesco C. Cesareo, Ph.D., president of Assumption College, congratulated the graduates and reminded them that the values they have had instilled in them over the last four years are ones that will continue to shape their lives and guide them as they serve their purpose in the world.

A total of 37 students were named Outstanding Students of the Year at Stonehill's recent Scholars Celebration.

More than 100 students presented their original academic research projects at Assumption College's 22nd Annual Undergraduate Symposium, held April 18-19 on the College's Worcester Campus. The undergraduate symposium highlights the research and scholarly achievements of Assumption students, working in collaboration with dedicated faculty mentors. These collaborations represent a model for integrating teaching, original research, and peer review in promoting intellectual development and professional growth. The symposium provides the campus community with the opportunity to gain a greater appreciation of, and applaud, the individual and collective accomplishments of the College's faculty and students.

Lambda Epsilon Sigma is Stonehill College's Honor Society. The purpose of the Society is to recognize and promote scholarship. Juniors and seniors who have attained a 3.50 cumulative grade point average are invited to apply for consideration. Additionally, in order to be inducted into the Society, the student must be recommended by faculty from both within and outside of the student's major.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale after the 2015 fall semester, achieved second year academic status, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

A total of 21 men's and women's student-athletes finished in the top eight at the New England Division III or ECAC Division III Indoor Championships this past winter.

The quartet of sophomore Sara Velleca, senior Alex Price, senior Liz Pellegrini and sophomore Taylor Teed set the school record in the 4x200-meter relay with a third-place time of 1:43.62. Later in the meet, junior Kimberlee Kocienski, sophomore Emily Newman, sophomore Maggie LaRoche and senior Julie Tevenan teamed up to take down the 4x800-meter relay record in 9:29.13 to also finish third.
